The American Recovery and Reinvestment Act of 2009 lets eligible Medicaid professionals receive up to $63,750 to purchase, implement and operate certified EHR technology.

Who are eligible?

Medicaid professionals who see minimum Medicaid patient volume percentage of more than 30% are eligible.  The minimum Medicaid patient volume percentage for pediatricians is 20%.

Are there payment adjustments for physicians not implementing certified EHR?

There are no payment adjustments associated with Medicaid.
